Biomes Guide — Hot, Cold & Normal Zones

Where to farm what: every biome-exclusive plant and liquid in TUSG.io.

The TUSG.io map is split into three biomes, and location decides loot: 24 harvestable plants and five liquids spawn by biome. If a recipe needs a hot-biome plant, no amount of farming the green zone will drop it — you go where it grows.

Normal biome

The temperate core of the map and the safest farming. Exclusive plants: Meadow Bloom, Dewdrop Fern, Woodland Moss, Willow Sprout, Briarvine, Sungrass, Verdant Shrub, Forest Orchid. Liquids: Aetherspring pools and the rare amber Solmead.

Hot biome

Burn hazards guard the best margins in the game. Exclusive plants: Emberthorn, Magma Sprout, Ash Blossom, Cinderleaf, Scorchvine, Lava Fern, Flamepetal, Pyrewood Shrub. Liquid: molten Pyrebrine, found nowhere else. Gear for it: a fire-resist shell (Ember Plating resists 28% at max power) and Purify to strip burns.

Cold biome

Fewer visitors, uncontested resources. Exclusive plants: Frostbloom, Ice Fern, Glacial Moss, Snowdrift Vine, Crystal Sprout, Tundra Reed, Permafrost Lily, Boreal Thistle. Liquids: dark Voidbrine and toxic Mirefen. An ice-resist shell (Frost Casing) is the natural pick for long stays.

Which biome should you farm?

Follow the crowd inversely: the normal biome is contested because it is safe, the hot biome pays because it is not, and the cold biome is the quiet middle — lower yields than hot, but you rarely fight another player for them.
