How to Play TUSG.io — Beginner’s Guide
Everything a new player needs for their first hour in the arena.
TUSG.io is a free survival io game that plays instantly in your browser: you are a cell in a shared arena — eat food, ores and smaller players to grow, avoid being eaten, and build out a character through skills, passive abilities and lootable gear. Unlike classic agar-style games, TUSG has monsters, bosses, crafting and a real player economy on top of the eat-or-be-eaten core.
Your five free starting skills
Every player begins with a full baseline kit — learn these before spending anything:
- Run — your escape and chase button.
- Single Shot — a spammable ranged attack on a 0.25s cooldown.
- Mass Eject — charge and fire a chunk of your own mass as artillery.
- Burning Aura — punishes anything that gets close.
- Emergency Heal — the panic button. Learn its 45s cooldown by heart.
What should you unlock first?
The standard opening: a mobility skill (Dash is cheap, Teleport is stronger later), then levels in Emergency Heal, then a utility projectile like Frost Shot. For passives, Mass Increase and XP Boost compound hardest when bought early.
The mistakes that kill every new player
- Carrying everything. Loot you have not put in a bank vault is lost on death. Bank early, bank often.
- Fighting at someone else’s size. The bigger cell wins contact. If you are not sure you are bigger, you are not.
- Ignoring the map. Viruses roam, blackholes bait, radiation ticks — half of survival is geography.
- Farming fodder forever. Ores only drop from level 3+ monsters and gear from tougher fights. Graduate as soon as your build allows.
